Flower Delivery Areas Served by Sussex County Florist

Sussex County Florist provides same-day flower delivery to Wantage, NJ and surrounding neighborhoods.

Walk into our shop any time of year and you'll see Christmas trees. Multiple. All decorated!

The silver winter one never comes down. My mother's Valentine tree sits in its own corner, and I love having them there. Customers say the place feels like a fairytale, which is exactly the vibe we're going for!

We're on Route 23 in Hamburg, connected to a jewelry store, so we are easy to find.

The music here depends entirely on the day. Some mornings call for meditation remixes while I'm processing stems and prepping arrangements. By afternoon, when orders are stacked and adrenaline's kicking in, we switch to techno. When things get overwhelming? We pause, do squats (yes, really), and reset. When we need to lighten the mood, Disney goes on and suddenly everything feels manageable again!

My whole family has always made things, so that artistic sensibility runs deep. When someone walks in asking if I can arrange flowers on a horse saddle or tuck them into cowboy boots, my answer is the same: absolutely! Let's figure it out together.

I approach every arrangement like an art piece. Weddings, birthday surprises, helping families say goodbye to someone they loved. We've created everything from baseball diamonds made of flowers to custom pieces celebrating someone's favorite sports team or lifelong hobby.

Six days a week, I'm here running the shop. My daughter handles our marketing (she's getting her master's in it right now), and during Valentine's and Mother's Day, friends jump in to help with phones and deliveries. The designing? That's all me! You tell me what you're envisioning, I create it, and there's no confusion along the way.

Fresh flowers arrive at least twice a week. I'm very particular about what goes out the door. Customers come back telling me their roses lasted two weeks, which makes my entire day!

One story I love: couple booked their wedding with us, then both got COVID right before the ceremony. I made them a small arrangement and drove it to their house so they could get married at home while recovering. A year later, when they finally had their big celebration at the farmstead, they called us again.

That's the kind of connection that keeps me going.
